The splendour of His glory - Veronica Language

perhaps you have thought about me
where I am and what I’m up to
it has been such a long time since we have
spoken etc.

did you not hear: as far as this world is concerned I have died
i am raised with Christ to a new life
sharing His resurrection from the dead

i aim at and seek the rich eternal treasures that are above
where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God

i set my mind and keep it set on what is above
the higher things
not on the things that are on the earth

when Christ, Who is my life, appears, then i also
will appear with Him in the splendour of His glory

i have been thinking about you
where you are and what you are up to
it has been such a long time since we have
spoken etc.

i have wanted to share with you
the joy and peace of this new life
the splendour of His glory
